About Dallas Yorkshire Terrier Meetup

Hello Yorkie lovers,

This is the Dallas Yorkshire Meetup group. We are relatively new -began late 2007- and now have a growing membership list of 120+. The core reason behind our group meetings is to give our precious Yorkies an opportunity to socialize and play with other Yorkies. We know that they are kings (and queens) of the castle at home but sometimes they don't get that opportunity out at the local dog park with big dogs.

The Yorkies enjoy each others company and learn to socialize, romp and play while owners exchange information on vets, groomers, dental care, quality dog food, the list goes on. If you have a question, there is bound to be someone in our membership who has some experience and can give some advice.

Our Yorkie Playgroup is a social meetup. Our main purpose is to allow our dogs to socialize in a safe and friendly environment. Our group welcomes mix and purebred Yorkies of all ages and sizes. Our Yorkies are more than just animals, they're members of the family! Bottom line is, we mix dog business with fun.

We're fortunate to have two professional breeders Kathi and Barbara as members of our group. When Kathi or Barbara are available, they share 25 years of expertise in Yorkie care and grooming with us. They don't just tell us how to do things, they bring their grooming table and shows us.
